6.1-Shawn Rescues Darth Vader

Just as a little side note, I would like everyone to know that I saw this episode in the Ziefield Theatre in New York for Psych Fan Appreciation Day. Feel free to be jealous. I am. It was so fun to be able to see it in a theater full of other Psych-o's and realize that, deep down, we are the same--just a bunch of wit-loving people with a hankering for pineapple.

I, personally, loved this episode. I'm a Star Wars fan, so all the references made me giggle inside. Especially Gus's face when the clueless British kid said the new Star Wars movies were better than the originals. Poor, backwards British kid. (Did anyone else notice in this scene that you could see Shawn's breath? I feel like with each season, they try less hard to hide the fact they're filming in Canada.)

I also loved Lassie this whole episode. He is so protective of Juliet, and I almost died when he told Shawn he would shoot him repeatedly if he ever hurt her. Have I ever mentioned I actually think Lassie is kind of attractive? Well...I do.
